From anywhere on Earth, patients and doctors can access medical information. To achieve this, the first HER system in Japan was launched in 2002 in Miyazaki and Kumamoto as the "Dolphin Project." Furthermore, under the Next Generation Medical Infrastructure Law, the "Millennium Medical Record" was established in 2015.
